Francis "Frank" Moriarity

Francis M. “Frank” Moriarity, 86, Altus, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at English Village Manor. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Altus City Cemetery with Father Sundar officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Frank was born to Thomas and Nora (Callahan) Moriarity on April 4, 1924 in Buffalo, New York. He married Patricia Jane O’Connell on September 13, 1947 in Buffalo, New York. He served his country from April 22, 1942 to January 30, 1946 in the US Army and was a veteran of World War II. He received numerous medals including the American Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, two Bronze Service Stars, and the World War II Victory Medal. He retired as the Maintenance Supervisor at English Village Manor after many years. He was of Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Patricia Moriarity, a daughter, Debra Moriarity, a granddaughter, Stacy Carlene Moriarity, a son-in-law, Robert Wysocki, four brothers and three sisters. Frank is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Wysocki of Altus, OK, Colleen Marshall and husband, Frank, of Altus, OK, and Tammy Ramirez and husband, Al, of Mangum, OK; three sons, Michael Moriarity and wife, Grace, of Shawnee, OK, Timothy Moriarity and wife, Vicki, of Altus, OK, and Patrick Moriarity and wife, Dora, of Olustee, OK; thirteen grandchildren, Phillip Reye Salazar and wife, Christa, Patricia Jane Sanchez and husband, Gerard, Adrienne Marie Sanchez Rivera and husband, Micheal, Elizar Agapito Ramirez, Jr., Christopher Michael Corson and wife, Jennifer, Lawrence Anthoney Moriarity and wife, Shella, Kristian Mikkel Moriarity, Shawn Patrick Moriarity, James Lefrane Moriarity and wife, Tonya, Casey Carlene Phillips and husband, Robbie, Michael Anthony Moriarity and wife, Jamie, Crystal Dawn Moriarity Cobb and husband, Randy, and Brittany Lynn Moriarity; twenty-three great-grandchildren, Phillip Salazar, Jeremiah Salazar, Joseph Salazar, Alicia Salazar, Brayden Salazar, Jade Frias, Gabriella Johnson, Cynthia Rivera, Alijandro Rivera, Izabella Rivera, Christopher Corson, Jr., Carly Corson, Sebastien Moriarity, Liana Moriarity, Kester Phillips, Winslow Phillips, Allison Moriarity, Raigan Rodrigues, Kennedi Cobb, Bray Cobb, Jennie Cobb, Joseph Basaldua, and Adian Garcia.
