Gail A. Thomas

Gail A. Thomas, 82, passed away at her home in Altus, Sunday, April 14, 2019. Memorial services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Altus Church of God with Pastor Winston Shaffer officiating. Services have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Gail Arlene Lambert was born to Luther Simon Lambert and Freda (VanSuphen) Lambert on October 9, 1936 in Eckman, West Virginia. She married Jack V. Thomas in June of 1953 in Bristol, Tennessee. Gail was a homemaker and loved to read, work crossword puzzles and sew. She was also a member of the Altus Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jack V. Thomas, Jr. and wife, Ruth.
Gail leaves behind her husband, Jack V. Thomas, of the home; son, Stephen Thomas; one brother, Raymond Lambert, three grandchildren, Shawn Thomas, Elizabeth Flaherty and husband, Andy, Jack V. Thomas, III and wife, Sandra; and one great-grandson, Quillin Thomas.
