Gaino J. Leeson, 87, Altus, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Olustee Cemetery with A.C. Ezzell officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Gaino Leeson was born June 24, 1931 to John "Tom" and Opal (Dains) Leeson in Ochelata, Oklahoma. Gaino served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years, retiring in 1969 as a Tech Sergeant. He worked for Reta Pump in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for twenty years . He was an electrician by trade and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Gaino enjoyed collecting guns, hunting and fishing.
Gaino is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Geneva; three wives, Virginia Nickerson, Pearlene Fanning and Louise Cook; daughter, Elaine McGraw.
He is survived by two daughters, Beth Wright and husband, Bruce, and Becky Armstrong; seven grandchildren, Mike Titzer and wife, Krista, Steve Titzer, Logan Wright and wife, Addie, Hillary Wright, Bobby Sue Wright and husband, Tommy, Tony Armstrong and wife, Jennifer, and Denise Dean and husband, Danny; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great grandson and one on the way.
