Gary Julian Gallardo

Gary Julian Gallardo, 64, of Altus, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, after battling a terminal illness. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Brother Junior Maldonado officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Julian Gallardo was born on November 9, 1953 in Plainview, Texas to Refugio and Teresa (Billarrial) Gallardo. Julian had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed helping others and was greatly admired. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Julian had so many friends and his two best friends, Roy Plata and Junior Maldonado.

Julian was preceded in death by his parents,Refugio and Teresa; a son, Johnny Esquivel, and two brothers, Carlos and Jose Angel Gallardo.

He is survived by ten children, Racheal Navarro, Bell Felan, Gary Julian Gallardo, Jr., Joey Esquivel, Jeffrey Flores, Robert Cerda, Carrie Gallardo, Jenna Gallardo, Jaclyn Jones and Ali Hanif; 18 grandchildren, Rufus Gallardo, Gabrielle Maldonado, Tia Gallardo, Christopher R. and Aaron Felan, Angel Gallardo, Johnny Esquivel, Jr., Jacob, Destiny and Serena Esquivel, Aric and Sara Causer, Teresa Gallardo, Jayden Jones, Marcus and Nina Flores, and Nathan and Jasmine Cerda; five great grandchildren, Abrianna, Tony, Ky'Ryn, Taitum and Cristiano; five sisters, Sisilia Gallardo, Carmen Ortiz, Patsy Hillgrass, Pauline Molina and Josefina Griego; five brothers, Benny, Danny, Luis, Jesse and Rudy Gallardo; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
