George Wesley “Preacher” Miller, 79, Eldorado, passed away, Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Eldorado Methodist Church, with Bobby Jones officiating. Interment will follow services at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. George Wesley Miller was born to Albert “A.W.” and Itha (Braker) Miller on June 21, 1931 at Eldorado, Oklahoma. George attended Eldorado schools. He married Carolyn Houston on June 21, 2007 at Eldorado, OK. He served his country in the Army Air Force. He was the owner of the Amarillo Printing Co., working there for forty years. George moved to Eldorado in the mid 1990’s where he farmed and raised cattle until his death. He was a member of the Mason’s, as well as the Methodist Church in Eldorado, OK. He was the president of the American Field Trial Association. George enjoyed hunting and raising bird dogs. George is preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.R. Miller; two sisters, Nina Easley and Gladys Bremmer. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife; Carolyn Houston- Miller; one daughter, Annette Butler of Amarillo, TX; one step-daughter, Kimberly Houston of Oklahoma City, OK; sons, Billy Miller of Tuscon, AZ, Vaughn Miller of Sierra Vista, AZ; four step-sons, Danny Jones of Amarillo, TX, Eddie Turner of Russellville, AR, Tony Houston of Waynoka, OK and Jerry Houston, of Duke, OK, as well as numerous grandchildren.
