Georgia Elizabeth Kellogg was born on January 23, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to loving parents, Leon and Laura (Bitler) Urynowicz. She spent her childhood in Mount Pleasant alongside her beloved brother, Daniel, where they formed cherished memories that would stay with her throughout her life.

In 1997, Georgia married Clifford Kellogg, in Mesquite, Texas, where they built a life filled with love, companionship, and laughter. She dedicated over 20 years of service to Dal-Tex Rental, where her determination and hard work earned her a management position before she retired. In 2019, she moved to Altus to be closer to her family, a decision that brought her great joy in her later years.

Georgia was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a gift for making a house feel like a home, filling it with the delicious aromas of her homemade meals and baked goods. Her kitchen was her happy place, where she found joy in preparing meals for her loved ones, ensuring that everyone was well-fed and surrounded by warmth. She also found solace in crocheting, creating beautiful handmade pieces that will continue to be treasured by her family. When she wasn’t busy in the kitchen or with her crafts, she enjoyed watching classic John Wayne westerns and episodes of Matlock, a pastime that never failed to bring her comfort.

Above all, Georgia's greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, especially around the dinner table, where laughter and stories flowed freely. Her love and devotion to her family were unwavering, and her presence was a source of comfort and strength for all who knew her.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Georgia peacefully passed away at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford; her sons, Vincent Stubbe and Timothy Stubbe; her daughter, Wannetta Unger; her parents, Leon and Laura; and her brother, Daniel Urynowicz.

She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving children, Kenneth Stubbe; Sandra Lee Harvey and husband, Craig; Jenny Richard; Roseann Smith and husband, Bryan; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Stubbe; and son-in-law, Darrell Unger. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Michael, Brandy, Cherry, R.J., Andrea, Brittany, Elizabeth, Patrick, Kristina, Erin, and Ashleey. She also leaves behind 24 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Georgia’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and perseverance. Though she may be gone, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
