Glenn Ledbetter, 73, Blair, passed away Sunday night at English Village Nursing Home. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Glenn Wallace Ledbetter was born January 7, 1940 to Coy and Ella Mae (Peek) Ledbetter in Olustee, Oklahoma. He attended Altus Schools and graduated with the class of 1958. Glenn was working as a butcher by the time he was thirteen years old. He worked as a butcher at King’s Food Store in Wichita Falls, TX for nineteen years. Glenn and Kay Mayberry were married on July 3, 1975 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Glenn also drove trucks for Passmore Trucking Company in Altus, Paul’s Transport in Enid, Oklahoma and Waggoner’s Trucking in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed driving trucks and loved watching westerns and NASCAR. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kay, of the home; four daughters, Nancy Warren and husband, Charles, of New Orleans, LA; Tammi Kenemer and husband, Dennis, of Altus, OK; Glenna Ledbetter of Hobart, OK, and Lisa Lewis of Hobart, OK; a stepdaughter, Lisa McWhorter of Altus, OK; three stepsons, Dennis Mayberry and wife, Shelley, of Chillicothe, TX, Wayne Mayberry of Oklahoma City, OK, and Phillip Mayberry and wife, Heidi, of San Antonio, TX; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Joan Browning of Altus, OK, Sue Guest of Altus, OK, and Vicki Solis and husband, Rumaldo, of Olustee, OK. The Ledbetter family will greet friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kincannon Funeral Home.
