Gloria Lee (Drury) Porter, 86, former Altus resident of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in the Restlawn Cemetery with Henry Holub officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Gloria Lee Drury was born on August 18, 1931 in Olustee, Oklahoma to Nolan and Leona (Cargill) Drury. She grew up in Olustee and graduated from Olustee High School in 1949. She worked for many years at Southwestern Bell in Altus and as a caregiver. Gloria was a member of the Church of Christ and loved to read.
Her parents, two brothers, Troy and Eldon Drury, and a nephew, Charles "Chuck" Drury, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Rocky Copeland and husband, John Tyson; a niece, Nyeeta Smith and husband, Darryl; two nephews, Troy Brant Drury and wife, Kathy, and Terry Drury and wife, Diane; a niece, Deleon Drury; cousins, Betty Bearden and husband, Bobby, Barbara Hatton Cumino, Ilene Reinhart and husband, George, Carl Ivan Hatton and John Mark Hatton; and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
