Gloria Solomon Maldonado

Gloria Solomon Maldonado, 67, Altus, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bobby Whorton officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Gloria Solomon was born on November 15, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Sabas and Paulita (Lopez) Solomon. She married Antonio Maldonado in Martha in 1970. Gloria loved gardening, shopping, going to church, being with her grandchildren, and watching her soaps. She enjoyed cleaning her plants and rearranging the furniture in her house. She was a member of the Templo Sinai Spanish Assembly of God for over ten years. Her parents, Paulita and Sabas Solomon, and four brothers, Victor, Raymond, Cruz and David Solomon, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Antonio, of the home; three daughters, Lina Molina and husband, Eloy, Rachel Maldonado, and Erica Scott and husband, B.J., all of Altus; two sons, Antonio Maldonado, Jr. and wife, Patricia, and Billy Maldonado and wife, Joy, all of Altus; 17 grandchildren, a great grandson, four sisters, Eloisa Revilla and husband, Isaiah, of Martha, and Lina Ybarra and husband, Luis, Juanita Revilla and husband, Roberto, and Elodia Torres and husband, Felipe, all of Altus; two brothers, Joe Solomon and wife, Mary, and Paul Solomon and wife, Rosalinda, all of Altus; and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
