Gwenn (Cole) Peery

Gwenn Mechelle (Cole) Peery, 46, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Arlis Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Gwenn was born on August 10, 1971 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Howard and Maria Cole. Gwenn spent her younger years in Altus and Olustee, Oklahoma, graduating from Gould High School. Gwenn was a woman of God. She loved the Lord and served him faithfully. She was always ready to help and support others. Blessed with boundless artistic skill, she devoted much of her time to crafts and sewing. Above all, she cherished spending time with family.

Gwenn leaves behind her husband, Ralph Peery, of Harvey, Arkansas and her children, Christopher and Matthew McElwee, of Edmond, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her parents, Howard and Maria Cole of Gould, Oklahoma; her siblings, twin sister, Kymm Kent and husband, Jason, of San Antonio, Texas, Howard Cole, II of Gould, Oklahoma, Libbi Hill and husband, James, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Forrest Cole of Gould, Oklahoma. Gwenn’s memory will be forever treasured by all who knew her and the many whose lives she touched including a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, friends, neighbors and loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, December 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
