Harold Eugene Combs, Sr, 54, Elmer, passed away peacefully at his home Friday, August 5, 2016. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery Veterans Section under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Harold was born January 20, 1962 in Altus, Oklahoma to Wiley E. and Waltraud Trudy (Reiss) Combs. He graduated from Altus High School in 1980 and enlisted in the United Stated Air Force. Harold met and married Carrie McKenzie in Altus, Oklahoma in 1983. To this union two children were born, Harold, Jr. and Heather. The Combs were stationed in Altus, Portugal, Colorado and finally back to Altus where Harold was honorably discharged in 2000, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He worked Civil Service as a Quality Assurance inspector for Supply on Altus Air Force Base for 15 years. Harold married Kim Hadley on October 17, 2013. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, raising Pomeranians and spending time with his family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kim Hadley-Combs; son, Harold E. Combs, Jr; daughter, Heather Raymond; grandchildren, Zachary Combs and Chase Raymond; two sisters, Wendy Combs-Duty and husband, Ron; Loreda "Lori" DeGiamario; two nieces, Angela Sanford and Julie Rusniak; five nephews, Dale, Tony, and Chris Glaab, Justin and Brandin Schumann and many great nieces and great nephews.
The Combs family will greet friends from 6 pm until 8 pm Wednesday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home.
