Harold A. Jefferson, 77, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in Burkburnett, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at 2:00 PM in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Harold was born on January 29, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Cleveland and Cassie Mae (Lewis) Jefferson. He grew up in Altus and graduated from Altus High School. He served in the US Army after high school and worked as a handyman for most of his life. Harold married Yolanda Copeland on December 1, 2012 in Altus. He enjoyed cleaning his truck, yard work and playing dominoes with his friends.
His parents and siblings, Cleveland, Lonnie B., Juanell, Doris, John L., Billy James, and Joe Eddy Jefferson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Yolanda, of the home; a sister, Mary Cameron; a daughter, Imesha Copeland; four sons, Harold Jefferson, Jr., Isaiah Jefferson, Antonio Pease and Anthony Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
