Harry Lewis “Bud” Bradbury, 71, Olustee, passed away Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Tamarack Road Church of Christ with Clint Burns officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Veterans Section of the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Harry Lewis Bradbury was born on July 19, 1941 to Lawrence and Wynona (Bryant) Bradbury, Sr. in Dallas, Texas. Harry and Helena Hancock were united in marriage in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 28, 1965. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1960 - 1964. Later he worked as a freight truck driver for several years until his retirement. He enjoyed shooting guns, reading, collecting coins and eagles and talking. He was a fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lawrence Bradbury, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Helena, of Manteca, CA; three daughters, Sheri Tidwell and husband, Michael, of Manteca, CA, Robin Russo and husband, Larry, of Junction City, CA, and Heather Detrick and Lonnie McMahon of Altus, OK; one brother, Robert Bradbury and wife, Pat, of Arizona; nine grandchildren, Candyce Bradbury of Junction City, CA, Bonnie Russo of California, Jessica Tidwell of Manteca, CA, Shelby Smith and husband, Casey, of Altus, OK, Alyssa Tidwell of Manteca, CA, Kyle Detrick of Altus, OK, Nathanial Tidwell of Manteca, CA and Lexie Perone of Altus, OK; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Lilliana; and a host of friends. Viewing for Mr. Bradbury will be from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday, October 28, 2012 at Kincannon Funeral Home.
