Hazel Imogene "Jean" Drury, 86, former Mangum resident of Altus, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Brad Pryor officiating. Burial will follow services in the Boggy Cemetery, south of Olustee, OK, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Jean was born to Ollie and Rebecca Jane (Bradley) Benny on March 29, 1929 in Brownwood, Texas. She and Wiley "Red" Drury were united in marriage on January 10, 1964 in Kermit, Texas. Jean was a bank teller off and on for more than forty years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mangum, OK and attended the First United Methodist Church in Altus. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in New Mexico. She enjoyed watching television, listening to music, reading and singing. Her true love was spending time with Red and her family. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Lancaster and June Turner. She leaves behind her husband, Red, of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Drury Cejka and husband, Gary, of Seguin, TX, and LeLanya Kunesh and husband, Kevin, of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren, Tracy Rice and husband, Stacey, of Katy, TX, Spencer Taylor and wife, Victoria, of Poteet, TX, and Reece and Leigh Kunesh, both of Tulsa, OK; eight great grandchildren, Taylor, Patrick, Kenneth, Amy, Elijah, Lilly, Aurelien and Cassi; and many other family members including two nieces, Peggy Miller and husband, Robert of Altus, OK and Vickie Lancaster Sledge and husband, Bill, of Jal, NM; a nephew, Rick Lancaster of Jal, NM; a cousin who was like a brother, Morris Bradley of Paint Rock, TX; and many others whom she loved. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tamarack Assisted Living Center or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
