Herman Wayne Clark, 77, Altus, OK, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 1, 2014 at Altus City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Herman Clark was born September 18, 1936 to Arthur and Ara (Alderman) Clark in Altus, Oklahoma. He graduated from Altus High School in 1954. He worked for an automotive parts warehouse in Chicago, Illinois for twenty-five years. Then in 1983, he returned back to his childhood home in Altus. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mr. Clark loved to spend his time reading and walking. He was a giving person with his support several different charities. Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ara Clark; and a sister-in-law, Stella Clark. He is survived by one sister, Donna Long and her husband, Don, of Blair, Oklahoma; one brother, Harold Clark of Riverside, California; nephews, Ronald Clark and his son, Cody, of Hemet, California, Alex Clark and wife, Ana, and their children, Arthur and Adriana of Riverside, California, Dean Clark of Riverside, California, Derek Long and his son, Darius, of Altus, Oklahoma; nieces, Shirley Buelow and husband, Jerry, and their children, Allissa and Gina of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tori Taylor and her husband, Larry, and their children Jacob Taylor and Kassy Duke; and one great-great-nephew, Bray Stephens. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Clark.
