Huguette Marie Thomas, 81, Altus, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Huguette Marie Weissen was born on June 7, 1936 to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Weissen in St. Avold, France. She moved from France to the United States in 1966. Huguette and Douglas M. Thomas were united in marriage on October 2, 1976 in Del City, OK. She had worked in the BX in France, Okinawa, Germany, Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City and Altus Air Force Base. She loved her cats and dogs and was a crossword enthusiast. Huguette was a member of the Catholic Church.
Huguette is survived by her husband, Douglas of the home; step mother-in-law, Vonta Thomas of Cleveland, OK; niece, Tracy Stephenson and husband, Justin, and their kids, Cad, Ally, Carter and Cru, all of Woodward, OK; two great nieces, Cailie and Talie Owen of Tulsa, OK; and a sister-in-law, Dian Hardin and husband, Don, of Stillwater, OK.
