Jackie Earlene Butterbaugh

Jackie Earlene Butterbaugh, 84, Altus, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. A family visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Jackie was born on February 2, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Carl and Viola (Crow) Rogers. She grew up in Oklahoma City and married Bill Medlock on September 15, 1953 in Arizona. She worked as a beautician most of her adult life, owning and operating Jackie’s Beauty Shop for over 25 years. Jackie married Robert “Bob” Butterbaugh on March 14, 1981 in Altus, Oklahoma. Together they owned and operated Pet – O – Rama Pet Store on Falcon Road in Altus. Jackie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus and enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, shopping and taking care of her “sorry” kids. Her greatest joy came from spending time and loving on her grandchildren.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Carl and Viola; two sisters, Connie Harris and Vickie Swopes; and a great grandson, Matthew, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McAskill and husband, Mike; sons, Billie Gene Medlock Jr., and George Medlock and wife, Kandy; grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus, Mandy, Jake, Carr, Phoenix, Olivia, Audrey and Lara; great grandchildren, Kendra, Bailey, Braden, Bryson, Tasia, Sydney, Abree, Eden, Fisher, Sawyer, Thatcher, Jack, Pearl, Lanie, Gunner and Jema; and a special friend, Joe McDowell.
