Jacquetta Faye Ryan

Jacquetta Ryan, 83, Altus, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at her home with many of her family members by her side. The family will hold a private memorial in honor of Jacquetta’s wishes. Cremation has been provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Jacquetta Faye Ryan was born on April 15, 1939 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Robert Earnest and Katie Lorene (Stallings) Floyd. She attended school in Tipton where she was a member of the band and graduated as a salutatorian with the Class of 1957. Jacquetta was a loan secretary at First State Bank for many years before retirement. She taught Sunday School for 2- and 3-year-old classes for many years at Altus First Baptist Church. Jacquetta enjoyed reading, working in the yard, listening to gospel music, dancing and spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Frazier; and brothers, John Harlan and Joe Mac Floyd. Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Mitzi Dickerson and husband George; grandchildren, Reid Nichols and wife, Sarah; Morgan Burnam and husband, Derrick; Jordan Dickerson, and Corbin Dickerson and wife, Analycia; great grandchildren, Hayden, Riley, Gunner, Kraymer, Braylon, Maley, Phoenix, and Walker; sister, Bobbe Sue Wilson; special friend, Jerry Myrick; special nieces, Lori Wilson and Tori Hazel and husband, Melvin; special nephew, Greg Nedrow and wife, Susan; and many other family and friends.
