James Davenport, 80, passed away on January 7, 2022 at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma. A private graveside service will take place on January 10, 2022 at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
James was born on January 9, 1941 in Diaz, Arkansas to Luvon Redd and Ruby Davenport. He attended high school in Charleston, South Carolina. James married Rebecca Culwell on June 6, 1970 in Denver, Colorado. James was a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he obtained his Doctorate in Radiology. James spent over 40 years serving families as a Radiologist.
James was proceeded in death by his parents, and one sister, Nancy Silver. He is survived by his loving wife of the home; three children, David Davenport, Melinda Davenport, and Paula Davenport.
