James "Jim" Post

James Lee "Jim" Post, 64, Tipton, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Jim was born on March 1, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to William and Ida Belle (Lambright) Post. He loved woodworking and was a carpenter for most of his life. He married Melinda Caraway on October 28, 2006 in Bridgeport, Texas. Jim loved to fish and ride his motorcycle. He loved his dogs and family, especially his grandkids. His parents and a sister, Laverne Post, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Melinda, of the home; six children, Donna Pittman Smith of the Cayman Islands, Angela Roach of Bridgeport, TX, Shanda Holsted of Bridgeport, TX, Jamie Engel of Grapevine, TX, Desiree Cryer of Tipton, OK and CJ Drager of Tipton, OK; numerous grandchildren; a great granddaughter, Payson Belle; his stepfather, Prentice Berwick of Bridgeport, TX; four sisters, Bonnie Mozda, Leslie Post, Vicki Post and Jessi Post Lindsay; a stepbrother, Prentice Berwick, Jr.; and numerous other family and friends.
