James Norman Ruzicka

James Norman Ruzicka, 88, Altus, passed away on October 23, 2018 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, October 29, 2018 at the Kincannon Funeral Home with Lionel Mounce officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the director of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
James was born on November 12, 1929 in Buckholts, Texas to Vincent and Lucille (Walsh) Ruzicka. He attended Buckholts High School and graduated in 1947. In 1952, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during Vietnam. He and Mitzi Darlene Rock were married in 1953 and later on he married Mary Jones in 1962. James retired from the Air Force as a Technical Sergeant after 20 years of service. After his retirement, James managed Rent City for 30 years before fully retiring. He married Rumalda Roblez in 2004. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church and the Altus Masonic Lodge #62. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives, Mitzi Darlene and Mary, six siblings, Walter, Alice, Wilbert, Carolyn, Norma and Buddy, two daughters, Jeannie and Jamie Ruzicka, a granddaughter, Jennifer, and a great grandson, Marc.
James is survived by his wife, Rumalda Ruzicka; daughters, Janette Burright and husband, Wes, and Tami Piccirello and husband, Nick; sons, James T. "JT" Ruzicka and wife, Patty, and James K. "Zeke" Ruzicka and wife, Ruth; grandchildren, Paul Burright, Nichole Ruzicka, Alisha Ruzicka, Krystal Hawkins, Sherry Burright, Wes Burright, Jr., Melissa Ruzicka, Eddie Horn, Krystle Ruzicka, James "Jaybo" Ruzicka and wife, Samantha, Katherine Ruzicka, Mindy Ruzicka, Susan Ruzicka Green and husband, Mark, Michelle Martinez, and Nicky Piccirello; numerous great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
