James Wesley Spann

James Wesley “Jimmy” Spann, 63, passed away at his home in Olustee, Oklahoma on Monday, December 19, 2022. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Duke Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Jimmy was born on October 5, 1959 in Biloxi, Mississippi to Billy R. Sr. and Olivia H. (Hunkeapillar) Spann. He graduated from Olustee High School with the class of 1977. He was enlisted in the United States Army from 1977 to 1985. He married Sharry Spann on June 4, 1993 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Jimmy was a truck driver by trade. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing basketball and music as well as fishing.

His father, Billy R. Spann, Sr. preceded him in death. Those left to honor Jimmy’s memory are his wife, Sharry Spann; mother, Olivia Spann, daughters, Reba Bates and Shiana Spann; sons, Wesley Reynolds and Dustin Reynolds; grandchildren, Andre Solomon, Libra Reynolds, Dallas, Reynolds, Davin Reynolds, Daisy Reynolds, Isabella Bates, David Bates, Avalon Spann, and Alivia Berry; great-grandchildren, Jasyah Solomon and Liliana Solomon; siblings, Sharon DeWeese, Billy R. Spann, Jr., Johnny Spann, and David Spann; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
