Janet Carole Laws

Janet Carole Laws, 63, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be webcasted 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Bishop James Laws officiating. Private family burial was in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Janet Carole Hamrick was born on May 6, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jack and Edna Earl (Jackson) Harris. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended schools there. Janet joined the United States Air Force and worked as a nurse before being honorably discharged. She worked as a secretary and a nurse's aide for most of her life. Janet married Joe Wayne Laws in Vernon, Texas in 1999. She enjoyed embroidery and taking care of her cats.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Joe, of the home; five children, Bryan Hamrick, James Hamrick, Joe Wayne Dixon, Don Dixon and Joseph Dixon; 16 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother and a sister.
