Jéan Leston Laundré, 34, Altus, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 31, 2017 in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Burial with military honors are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Jéan Leston Laundré was born on October 16, 1982 in Minot, ND to Timothy and Susan (Day) Laundré. He graduated from Altus High School with the class of 2001 and attended Western Oklahoma State College. Jéan served in the United States Air Force from 2004 until his retirement in 2008. He received numerous awards including the Meritorious Unit Award, Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Medal. He attended ITT Technical Institute in Oklahoma City and enjoyed computers.
His grandparents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Susan Laundré; his father, Tim Laundré and wife, Betty; four brothers and sisters, Christopher Neff and wife, Holly, Miranda Laundré, Joy Maldonado and husband, Billy, and his twin sister, Melissa Laundré and spouse, Reah Lim; and numerous other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The Laundré family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
