Jeane Heuckendorf

Jeane Heuckendorf, 86, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. The family has chosen cremation and they will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Jeane was born June 28, 1936 in Mercer Township, Iowa to Eldon and Beulah (Newby) Stice. She graduated from Corning High School, Corning, Iowa, with the Class of 1955. She also received her cosmetology license in 1956. Jeane lived in Altus most of her life. She was self-employed and was an artist who enjoyed sculpting as well as other mediums. Jeane was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed artwork, shopping on the QVC network and gardening. Her family remembers her sense of humor and her stubbornness. She was a fighter to the end.
Jeane is survived by her two daughters, Angela Welch and husband, Steve, and Michelle Jarrett and husband, Bryan; five grandchildren, Sean Welch and wife, Terah, Alex Atkinson, Matthew Welch, Jansen Jarrett, and Pacey Jarrett; four great grandchildren, Jace, Zane, Rebel and London.
