Jeanine Ruth McCutchan, 87, Altus, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in McKinney, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, with Rev. Kevin Baker officiating. Burial will be under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A memorial celebration will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Martha Road Baptist Church.
Jeanine Ruth Field was born on September 23, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Chester A. and Mary E. (Scales) Field. After graduating high school, she received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Speech from Wayne State University in Detroit. Jeanine married her loving husband, Carl M. McCutchan, on June 9, 1967 in Tahlequah. Jeanine was a teacher by heart, especially of the Gospel. She was a member of the Martha Road Baptist Church, a Red Cross volunteer trainer for 12 years, and a former director of Women’s Ministry at Bethel Church in Dallas, Texas. She and Carl were dutiful missionaries and served with The Navigators, an international Christian organization. Together, her and Carl poured the love of Christ into countless military personnel and their families.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Carl; her parents; three brothers-in-law, Robert H., Roy, and Bert McCutchan; two sisters-in-law, Jean Cherry and Judy McCutchan; and Nic’s mother and daughter-in-spirit, Heather.
Jeanine is survived by her son, Robert D. McCutchan and wife, Sarah; three grandchildren, Nic McCutchan, Jasmine Wilson, and Aiden McCutchan; one brother-in law, Jack McCutchan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
