Jessica FaDean Long, 60, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her home in Altus. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia, AR with Ricky Crouch officiating. Graveside services are under the direction of the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Local services were entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home. Jessica FaDean Bass was born to Jesse James and Ermaline Faye (Glover) Bass on November 23, 1953 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jessica and Paul E. Long were united in marriage on December 31, 1985 in Tacoma, Washington. She earned her Child Development Associate certificate and was the Lead Desk Clerk at the Child Development Center at Altus Air Force Base for twenty years. Jessica was very involved in the Main Street Altus projects, Altus Alley Cats, Walkin’ on Chalk, Chili Cookoff and the Rockin’ Rumble. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing and knitting. She was a loving and devoted military spouse. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anthony Bass. She leaves behind her husband, Paul, of the home; a daughter, Tiffany McClary and husband, Mike, of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, William Carman and wife, Teresa, and Drew Carman and wife, Tephanie, all of Altus, OK; six grandchildren; a brother, Phillip Bass and wife, MaryAnn, of Ft. Worth, TX; as well as a host of friends.
