Jo Annette Bush

Jo Annette Bush, 71, passed away early Monday morning, September 22, 2014 at her home, north of Olustee, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Olustee First Baptist Church with Rev. Max Gunn and Erin Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Annette was born on May 5, 1943 to Lester and Hilda (Cobb) Evans in Banty, OK. She graduated from Bokchito High School in 1961 and attended one year at Southeastern College in Durant. Annette and Charlie Bush were united in marriage on June 3, 1961 in Bokchito, OK and to this union three children were born. She was the dietary manager at the Durant Hospital and a home health aide for Jackson County Home Health. Annette was a member of the Olustee First Baptist Church and Kappa Beta Phi. She loved traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Annette is survived by her husband, Charlie; her son, Eddie Bush and Yvette Ullrich, both of Olustee, OK; two daughters Charlotte Dickey and husband, Mike, of Durant, OK and Kim Zabonik and husband, Jeff, of Lone Grove, OK; three grandchildren, Ryan Hisaw and fiancé, Megan Edwards, Morganne Hisaw and Marshall Zabonik; a sister, Barbara Wigley and husband, Johnny, of Kingston, OK; and a brother, Hoyte Evans and wife, Jo, of Springtown, TX. The Bush family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday evening at the Kincannon Gathering Room. Memorial contributions may be made to the Olustee First Baptist Church or to the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma in Annette’s name.
