Joe Sanchez, Jr.

Joe Sanchez, Jr., 42, Altus, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his home. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Adam Saavedra officiating. Services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Joe (Ringy) Sanchez, Jr. was born February 18, 1978 in Altus, OK. Ringy lived in Altus his entire life. He was a son, big brother, uncle, a father figure and a friend. Joe (Ringy) had many family and friends that loved him. Ringy loved music. His favorite artist was Shelly Lares. He loved to dance, and anytime he walked into the room, or anywhere he went, he was the LIFE of the party. Ringy was funny, silly and loved to joke around. He always said “Hi” to anyone and everyone, cause that’s how he was. Ringy was a decoration person, his sister, Kristy loved to do crafts together. He worked with his uncles and dad at Sanchez Home Improvement and Cleo Tree Service for many years. Then he joined the nursing profession with his mom, aunt and sisters at English Village Nursing Home for many years where he became a Certified Medicine Aide and an Activity Director. Ringy was in Drug Court and sober for five years from the hard work and dedication that he put in. He graduated and was very proud of himself. He then worked at McDonalds and became a manager, which was a great accomplishment he was very proud of. Joe had many friends and family that will miss him very much.

Ringy is preceded in death by his dad, Jose Sanchez, an aunt, several uncles and grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Luna Sanchez; two sisters, Kristy A. Sanchez and husband, Felipe Martinez, and Stella Maria Sanchez and her partner, Jeremy Diez; two nieces, Gabby Leann Sanchez and her fiancé, Preston Sklar, and Serenity Leann Martinez; one nephew, Marc Maldonado; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins and other family members and so many friends that loved him dearly.
