John "Bubba" Jones,

John Henry “Bubba” Jones, Jr., 52, Altus, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home. John Henry Jones, Jr. was born on August 23, 1961, to John Henry and Beaulah (Logan) Jones in Denton, Texas. Bubba resided in Denton until the age of 16, he then moved to Altus where he lived until his death. He was a construction worker. Bubba loved to work on cars and go fishing. Bubba goes on to join his mother; a sister, Sally Mae Williams; a daughter, Shanel Jones; and a son, Terrance “Shaun” High. He leaves behind a daughter, Kaylee, of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Ray Harrell and Eddie Harrell, both of Altus, OK; a sister, Kathy Jefferson of Lawton, OK; and long time friend as well as the mother of his children, Ethel “Pookie” High, of Altus; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Bubba will be truly missed by all.
