John Robert Simmons

John Simmons, 50, Altus, passed away Monday morning, July 13, 2020 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2020 in the Veterans Section of the Altus City Cemetery with Rabbi Gary Gardner officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

John Robert Simmons was born June 22, 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty years and retired as a Tech Sergeant. He was a proud veteran and remained very active in the community. He had a ministry, “A Divine Appointment,” and held the Sabbath and a Passover in his home over the years.
John leaves behind his parents, James and Anna Simmons; one sister, Carmen Simmons; and many other family members and friends.

John, wanted you all to know, how much love and gratitude he had for the overwhelming support for him.
