Johnnie Cotton

Johnnie R. Cotton, 60, Altus, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at English Village Manor in Altus. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Johnnie R. Cotton was born May 5, 1961 in Tulia, Texas to Robert Earl and Larine (Weeks) Cotton. He graduated from Valley High School, Turkey, Texas, with the Class of 1979. Johnnie married Jacque Doby on February 14, 1983 and to this union two children were born, Krystal and Kelvin. Johnnie worked on area farms most of his adult life until he became disabled. He loved working with his hands, the outdoors and wide, open spaces.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jacque Doby-Cotton; daughter, Krystal Cotton; son, Kelvin Cotton; sister, Jo Ann Weeks; brother, Jimmy Lee Weeks; three grandchildren, Kandas, Lamarius, and Kryslyn; nephew, Kevin R. Reese; and many friends.
