Jonathan Caine Penney

Jonathan Caine Penney, 10, son of Eric and Misty Penney, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 in Altus after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Lamar Reese officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Jonathan Caine Penney was born on June 28, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Eric W. and Misty D. (Sawyer) Penney. He was currently attending Altus Elementary School where he was in Mrs. Knight’s fourth grade class. Jonathan enjoyed spending his time with trains, playing with friends, sciences, engineering, gaming, and designing. He was an awesome son, little brother, grandson, friend, lover of all pets, and a real comedian to everyone around him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Eric and Misty Penney; sister, Savannah R. Scales; brother, Riley V. Penney; his grandparents, Sherry and David Hawthorne and Linda and Wayne Penney; and a host of other family members and friends.
