Julia Ann “Judy” Signorelli, 82, Altus, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing and Therapy. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Duree officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Julia was born January 11, 1940 in Corcoran, California to Johnny and Hallie (Sewell) Hokett. She graduated from Artesia High School, Artesia, New Mexico, with the Class of 1958. She also attended Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, Texas. Julia married George Signorelli on Valentine's Day, 1959, in Artesia, New Mexico and to this union four sons were born – Paul, James, John and Peter. She was a longtime member of the Southside Baptist Church where she and George sang at many church activities and functions. Julia enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, cooking and of course – shopping! She cherished most the time spent with her family.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Hallie Hokett; and her brothers, David, Lynn and Ardell “Sam”. She is survived by her husband, George; four sons, Paul Signorelli and wife, Kim; James Signorelli and wife, Kimberly; John Signorelli; and Peter Signorelli and wife, Tricia; her sister, Janice Hokett; her brother, James (Jim) Hokett; six grandchildren, Kara Scheffe and husband, Shaun, Sara Chambers and husband, Erin, Caleb Signorelli and wife, Braylee, Adison Signorelli, Seth Signorelli, and Luke Signorelli; five great grandchildren, Kynlee, Jensen, Benjamin, Kendal and Waylon James; and many friends.
