Kathleen S. Brandon

Kathleen S. Brandon, 76, Altus, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Mother Kathleen Murray and Suzanne Mollison officiating. Inurnment will be in the St. Paul’s Columbarium under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Kathleen S. Spittles was born on September 28, 1936 in Luton, England to Arthur and Daisy Spittles. She grew up in Luton and graduated high school. She married Franklin D. Brandon on November 15, 1958 in England. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and loved crocheting, knitting, gardening and yard work and feeding the birds. She loved her beloved dachshund, Coco. Her family looked forward to her dressing every holiday season. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Michael Spittles, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Steve Mark Brandon and wife Jeanne: Philip Brandon; a granddaughter, Heather Hill; a grandson Heath Hill and Emily; one great grandson, Landry Hill, all of Altus; a sister, Pat Prentki of England; and two brothers, Terry Spittles of Canada and David Spittles and Joyce of England.
