Kenneth F. Lyman, 69, Altus, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Kincannon Funeral Home with burial to follow under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Kenneth Forrest Lyman was born May 20, 1949 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Earle and June (Billings) Lyman. He graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth High School in Dennisport, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1967 and retired as a Master Sergeant Flight Engineer in 1988 following 21 years of service. Kenneth married Cynthia Morgan November 26, 1980 in Vernon, Texas. He continued his education at Western Oklahoma State Collage, attaining his Associates Degree; earned his BSBA in Business Management from the University of Southern Colorado. Kenneth was of the Christian Faith, attending St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was a lifetime member of the Hobart American Legion and the 57th Alumni; enjoyed traveling, fishing, games, joking with family and friends and spending time with family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Kenneth Lyman, Jr; Robert Lyman; granddaughter, Abigail Watson; daughter-in-law, Katie Lyman; his sister, Debra Stevens and his brother-in-law, Joe Stevens.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; four daughters, Melissa Watson and husband, Jose; Julie Lyman; Leasa Lyman and fiance, Jon Hollander; and Kat Chandler; three sons, Kenneth Lyman; Curtis Lyman and wife, Claudia; Shawn Guy and wife, Shirley; brother, Roger Lyman and wife, Dianne; two sisters, Sandy Stevens and Susan Linnel; nine grandchildren, William, Jacob and Destiny Lyman; Kyle Taresh; Krista Guy; Derek and Dan Tetrick; Caleb and Noah Watson and Dean Hollander; two great grandchildren, Summer Davis and Mia Flesch; and many friends. The Lyman family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
