Kenzie Aaron Horton, 20, Hollis, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Harmon Regional Hospital in Hollis, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 in the First United Methodist Church, Hollis, with Rev. Donald Altom officiating. Burial will follow in the Dodson Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Altus, Oklahoma.
Kenzie was born on July 17, 2000 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Scott and Kristi (Paxton) Horton. She grew up in Hollis and graduated from Hollis High School in 2019. She was currently attending Oklahoma State University, where she was a member of the Tri-Delta Sorority and the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. Kenzie was an Oklahoma State football fan and enjoyed running, snowboarding, concerts and going to the lake.
Her paternal grandfather, Charles Paxton, and an aunt, Jodi Huff, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her parents, Scott and Kristi Horton; two brothers, Kade and Kole Horton; maternal grandmother, Jeri Paxton; paternal grandmother, Judy Wischkaemper and husband, Danny; paternal grandfather, Kelly Horton and wife, Lori; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenzie’s name to the First United Methodist Church, 224 N. 2nd Street, Hollis, OK 73550 or to the Hollis School Foundation, 17771 E. 1630 Road, Gould, OK 73544.
