Kerry Van VanCleave, 55, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Lawton , Oklahoma. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday May 1, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Erin Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Kerry was born on November 29, 1959 to O.F. and Ludene (Alexander) VanCleave in Altus, Oklahoma. Kerry graduated from Altus High School with the class of 1979. Kerry and Tammy Parks were united in marriage on October 17, 1980 in Vernon, Texas. Kerry served his country in the United States Army from 1981 to 1983. He worked for the Departments of Corrections at various locations in the state from 1984 to 1997. He was the manager of Altus McDonalds from 1995 to 2005. He loved OU football, Thunder basketball and casino trips. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is preceded death by his parents; brother, Reggie VanCleave; sister, Brenda Roach; and brother-in-law, Bobby Pruitt. He is survived by his wife, Tammy, of the home; three daughters, Misty Tobyne and husband, Brad, of Hoyt, KS, Stormy Bailey and husband, Markese, of Oklahoma City, OK and Rainey Alvarado and husband, Michael, of Altus, OK; ten grandchildren, Aleah, Derby, Porter, Keeland, Dashawn, Braelyn, Ashley, Destiny, Kyli and MJ: one great-grandchild, A'Reiya; and two sisters, Beverly Pruitt of Amarillo, TX and Donda Roach and husband, Steve, of Altus, OK. Memorial contributions in Kerry's name may be sent to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
