Kerry Wayne Metcalf

Kerry Wayne Metcalf, 48, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Kincannon Funeral Home Chapel with Dean Bryce and Steve Brookman officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Kerry was born March 5, 1965 in Altus, Oklahoma to Kent and Ruth (Ables) Metcalf. He attended the Altus Public School system completely from kindergarten through high school, graduating in the Altus High School Class of 1984. He married DeAnna Oxley Jones on May 21, 2001 and to this union, one son, Tristan, was born. Kerry worked in the landscape business and was currently working at Scott’s Lawn and Garden in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Kerry enjoyed golfing, fishing, all and any outdoor activities and spending time with Tristan. Kerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, A. D. and Jewel Ables and Dub and Geraldine Metcalf. He is survived by his son Tristan Metcalf of Dibble, OK; two sisters, Kenna Cataudella and husband Steve of Owasso, OK; Andrea Henderson and husband Larry of Stillwater, OK; three brothers, Dale Clayton and wife Cindy of Mangum, OK; Kyle Clayton of Mangum, OK; Cary Carman and wife Misty of Weatherford, OK; parents Carl and Ruth Clayton of Altus, OK; Kent and Donna Metcalf of Stillwater, OK; grandmother, Ruth Prewitt of Roswell, New Mexico and many friends.
