Kody Matthew Redden, 15, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Kody Matthew Redden was born on May 30, 2001 in Altus to Mike and Lori (Matthews) Redden. He was a sophomore at Altus High School where he was active in FFA, baseball and showing pigs. Kody enjoyed attending the Apache Cattle Sale with his grandpa, working cattle, raising showpigs, playing Xbox with his brother and friends, spending time with his grandparents and working on the farm.
His grandfather, Ed Putnam, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents, Mike and Lori Redden; a brother, Kade Redden; his grandparents, Doc and Marzelle Matthews of Mangum, OK and Bob and Mary McFadden of Altus, OK; aunts and uncles, Jill and John Haddon of Anadarko, OK and Paige and Andy Teel of Minco, OK; cousins, Brady Matthews, Ryan, Joe and Branson Haddon, and Brooklyn and Avery Teel; and special friends, Cale and Luke Gallagher, and Harrison Holder.

The Redden family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kody Redden Memorial Scholarship Fund at Stockman's Bank.
