Lana Paulette Duncan, age 68, Altus, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Plantation Village in Altus, Oklahoma. The Duncan family will greet friends Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Kincannon Gathering Room. Services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Lana Paulette Day was born February 5, 1949 in Altus, Oklahoma to Paul and Minnie Jane (Maxey) Day. She attended Altus Publics Schools and continued her education at West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas, attaining a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology with honors. She married Donnie Duley, who preceded her in death, and then married Larry G. Duncan, who also preceded her in death. She was a long time Altus, Oklahoma resident but had also owned Angel’s Bail Bonds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for several years. Lana was of the Baptist faith.
Her parents; husbands, Donnie Duley and Larry G. Duncan; and her siblings, Pat Warren, Rita Futrell, Bobby Pruitt, Kenneth Pruitt, Jack Pruitt and Billy Pruitt, preceded her in death.
Lana is survived by her daughter, Johanna Duley of Yukon, Oklahoma; sister, Yvonne Fiorentini of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her special nieces, Lisa Gladden and Terri Sims of Wichita Falls, Texas. Lana was witty, smart, and loved to tell jokes. She enjoyed playing board games, drawing and singing. She also loved to spend time with her extended family, Aunt and Uncle, Gwen and Johnny Paver, and cousins, Floye McCoun and Gail Grant, all of Amarillo, Texas. Lana will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
