Lane Spencer Martin

Lane S. Martin, 36, Altus, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Kincannon Funeral Home with family comments and a Life Tribute video. Cremation has been provided by Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Lane Spencer Martin was born December 18, 1984 in Altus, Oklahoma to Lee and Renee (Waldroop) Martin. He attended Altus Public Schools and graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 2003. Lane continued his education at Western Oklahoma State College in Altus. He worked as a landman in the oil and gas industry most of his adult life. Lane was a gifted artist whose favorite medium was acrylics. He also enjoyed playing golf, collecting arrowheads and having a good laugh with his friends. Lane appreciated nature hikes in Colorado and spending time with his family and friends.
Lane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buddy and Susie Martin; and Garland Waldroop; and his aunt, Janie Luke. He is survived by his parents, Renee Martin and Lee Martin; his daughter, Pennie Lane Martin; his son, Charlie Blaze Martin; his sister, Lindsey Martin; his brother, Lex Martin; his grandmother, Kay Waldroop; and his nephew, Spencer Martin.
