Leona McCall

Leona McCall, 88, Blair, passed away Thursday evening, December 28, 2017, at her home. Private family graveside services were held Friday afternoon, December 28, 2017 at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.

Leona Bush was born October 22, 1929 in Altus, Oklahoma to Samuel J. and Bessie Hollie (Booth) Bush. She attended Victory School through most of her grades but graduated from Blair High School. Consequently, Leona still attended the Victory School Reunions throughout her life to visit with classmates. She married Norman Emory McCall in Vernon, Texas. Leona was a farm wife while the children were young and later, a bookkeeper and accountant. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bessie Bush; her husband, Norman McCall; and two brothers, Floyd Bush and Loyd Bush. Leona is survived by her two sons, Nolan Lee Mccall and Glen Dewayne Mccall; and two grandchildren, Emory McCall and Charlotte Sudderth.
