She was an endlessly devoted, supportive, and loving mother who worked tirelessly in the home raising her family. She attended business school in Oklahoma City, and later worked for the Coors Brewing Company from 1984 until her retirement in 2005. Linda was a devout Christian who loved the Lord, and trusted him with all things. She enjoyed reading, working on the computer, sewing, swimming, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Genene Gooch-Briggs (Ken), Jessica Lombardo (Dave), Sallie Hughes, James Hughes (Aleatha), and Anna Hughes; siblings, George Dickerson (Deanna), Eva Lee Hughes, and Shirley Kay Dickerson; eight grandchildren, Jamie Catherine, Johnathon, Justin, Samantha, Jacob, Joshua, Krislyn Joy, and Joseph; five great grandchildren, Hunter, Christopher, Jaxon, Grayson, and Abigail; and several other relatives and friends.
Although our hearts break with the passing of our sweet Linda Joy, we take comfort that her earthly struggles are over, and that she is resting easy in the arms of her Savior. She touched the lives of so many during her time here on earth, and the love she showed throughout her life will always be a testament to the extraordinary person she was.
