Linda Trimble, 71, Altus, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. At Linda's request no services have been scheduled. The family will hold a private inurnment. Local services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home.
Linda Elaine Tate was born November 30, 1944 to Thomas L. and Marian Elaine (Parks) Tate in Bryan, Texas. Linda was a graduate of the Friendship High School. She was a homemaker and a single mother; she owned a wig shop and was a body shop appraiser as well as a claims adjuster. She was known as being tough as nails and a very hard worker. Linda enjoyed touring, nature, racing, especially NASCAR and NHRA, studying history and Native American history, as well as the Bible. She was an avid Elvis fan.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Michael.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Ferrer and wife, Janice; brother, David Tate and wife, Rhonda; a sister, Sheri Foshee; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
