Lorenzo Sanchez, 64, Altus, passed away at his home on Friday, September 9, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with family and friends sharing memories. Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service has been entrusted to handle services.
Lorenzo was born November 1, 1957 in San Bernardino, California. He never graduated from high school but later received his G.E.D. and entered the criminal justice program at Western Oklahoma State College in 2001. Lorenzo entered the United States Army on September 23, 1981 and was medically discharged on December 30, 1988 as a Specialist. He worked in law enforcement while in the military and continued as a prison guard for many years before retiring. He then spent most of the days being a handyman and lending help to anyone who needed it. He married Michelle Harnden on May 12, 2001 in Vernon, Texas. Lorenzo was of the Christian faith; he enjoyed cars, music, bowling and spending time with family and friends.
Lorenzo was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Sanchez. He is survived by his daughter, Chaela Williamson and husband, Kyle; four sons, Jeremy Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez and wife, Leslie, Nathaniel Sanchez and wife, Amy, and Jory Sanchez and wife, Koral; one sister, Dolores Ramirez; ten grandchildren, Lillianna Sanchez, Jeremy Sanchez, Jr., Machaela Sanchez, Cooper Williamson, Elijah Sanchez, Aiden Sanchez, Katie Back, Joseph Back and Jacob Back, and Drake Hernandez; and many other relatives and friends.
