Lucy Crelia, 97, of Altus, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Restlawn Cemetery with Rev. Margie Van Oostrum officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Lucy Lena Harvick was born on October 23, 1914 to Walter M. and Ruby (Rambo) Harvick in Eldorado, Oklahoma. She was the last of eleven children. She graduated from Eldorado High School in 1933 and married Vernon Crelia on March 31, 1934 in Eldorado. To this union four children were born. She became a widow in 1962, after the passing of her husband. Mrs. Crelia worked as a clerk with Civil Service at the Altus Air Force Base Hospital for 15 years. She spent time quilting, crocheting and watching her favorite teams, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and OU, play ball. Mrs. Crelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vernon, a son, Dennis Crelia, a daughter-in-law, Pat Crelia, and a great grandson, John Reed Winkler. She is survived by two sons; Laboyd Crelia and wife, Mary, of Blum, TX, and Hub Crelia of Pawhuska, OK; one daughter, Sarah Winkler and husband, John, of Altus, OK; one sister-in-law, Vernelle Curtis of Grandview, TX; nine grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren, and too many nieces and nephews to count. Memorials may be made in honor of Lucy Crelia to the charity of your choice.
