Lyle Bertram

April 28, 1963 — September 7, 2017

Lyle Bertram, 54, Blair, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Celebration of life services with military honors will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 15, 2017 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rich Ainslie officiating. Inurnment will be at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Lyle was born on April 28, 1963 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Darel and Jacqueline Bertram. He married Jessie Tankersley on January 5, 1996 in Vernon, Texas. Lyle proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Tech Sergeant after 21 years. He ran three successful family businesses, Arrowhead Auction Gallery, Blair Treasure Chest and the Traveling Monkey. Lyle enjoyed hunting with his father in Kansas and attending auctions, especially the local longhorn and buffalo sale. Even though his passion was trying to make a buck, he always had time to sit and talk with friends. He will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and he leaves us rich in memories.

Lyle's spirit is carried on by his wife, Jessie, of the home; his parents; three daughters, Alexandria Byrum, Ezable and Sabrina Bertram; three sons, Greg Daugherty and wife, Amanda; Jake and John Bertram; five grandchildren, Keaton, Caleb, Kylee, Brittney and Jasmine; a brother, Robert Bertram and wife, Melissa; and an extended family of friends from every walk of life.

In lieu of flowers, Lyle would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in his name.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
