Lyndel Raymond "Ray" Gastineau, 71, Mangum, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Quartz Mountain Medical Center in Mangum. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Blair Cemetery with Todd McRay officiating. Services have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home. Ray was born on May 1, 1943 to Raymond James and Irene (Joy) Gastineau in Enid, Oklahoma. Ray and Dorothy Harrell were united in marriage in 2005 in Vernon, Texas. He worked as a flight simulator instructor at the Altus Air Force Base for almost fifty years. Ray was an avid race car driver and raced at Quartz Mountain, Altus Speedway and Wichita Falls. He won at all three tracks in the 90's. Ray also loved to play golf whenever he could. Ray is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home; two sons, Todd Ray Gastineau and Russel Gastineau and wife, Joyce, of Hydro, OK; four grandchildren, Justin Gastineau and wife, Cassie, of Kingston, OK, RJ Gastineau of Hydro, OK, and Elizabeth Alexander and Emily Alexander, both of Duke, OK; four great-grandchildren, Myranda, Hunter, Brayden and Ryker; a sister, Naoma Squires of Taloga, OK; and one niece, Iola Logan of Edmond, OK.
