Mable E. (Hall) Perry, 96, Blair, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Tamarack Assisted Living Center in Altus, Ok. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Kincannon Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Burial will follow services at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Mable Elma (Hall) Perry was born November 10, 1919, one of seven children, to Arthur and Jessie (McRae) Hall in Warren, Oklahoma. She was raised in Jackson County and graduated from Warren High School in 1938. Mable graduated from Altus Junior College and then attended Oklahoma State University. In 1942 she and her mother moved to San Diego, California where Mable worked at Consolidated Aircraft Company where the B24 Aircraft were built. She worked in the electrical department assembling bomb panels for the B24s. Following WWII, Mable and her mother moved back to Oklahoma where she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Blair, Altus and Ringling, Oklahoma. Mable married George E. Perry September 15, 1972 in Hobart, Oklahoma. George and Mable bought a farm Southeast of Blair where Mable retired and took care of her mother who lived with them. Mable enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, reading, crafts, dominoes, cards, crocheting and hunting with George and their bird dogs. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends and was always content wherever she was and with the work she was doing. Mable enjoyed life to the fullest.
Following the death of her husband and mother, Mable moved to Blair to be near her brother who was always ready and willing to help her if she needed anything.
Mable was preceded in death by her beloved husband; mother and father; three brothers, Franklin, "Big" Loyd and "Little" Floyd Hall; three sisters, Zelma Hall, Myrtle (Hall) Cupp and Edith Netherton; two sisters-in-law, Geneva (Jones) Hall and Elaine (Pickering) Hall; two brothers-in-law, Edmond Cupp and Finley Netherton.
She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and many very dear friends whom she loved as part of her family.
